We believe that what we do within each ministry should flow purposefully out of what we value and love. Whether you have a family of 5 or are single, you'll find a place to help you experience God. Check out the various ministries listed below where you can get plugged at JOY.
Kids are a top priority at JOY Church. We seek to lovingly guide and instruct our children so they share our church’s mission. Children receive age-appropriate lessons that are centered on Biblical truths, reinforced with practical life application, and enriched by a craft or game.
Ladies, come get refreshed and renewed in Christ! We view our Women's Ministry as a “filling station” where we can come together to worship, build community, learn, grow, and nurture one another in our faith. Our meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month. You are invited to join us.
Men, come grow in your relationship with Christ, connect and learn with other men, and hold each other up in prayer? Be part of a ministry where you mentor, edify, train, and equip fellow men in becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus. We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month. You are invited to join us
Two hours every Saturday served in the food pantry feeds a family for a week! Shoppers choose canned goods, frozen meat, fresh produce, and dairy items. Food is provided by the Food Bank and managed by caring volunteers. We invite you to get involved in this meaningful ministry.
The Music + Media Ministry at JOY exists to establish an atmosphere conducive to worship, enabling the Spirit to move freely, serve to enhance the worship service and prepare the people for the delivery of the Word of God. We invite you to get involved in this important ministry.
The Helps Ministry’s contribution to the service is vital. Being part of a Helps Ministry is service to God, service to the Pastor, and service to God’s people. The Ministry of Helps consists of many areas, but falls into the following categories at JOY: Greeters, Ushers, and Altar Workers.
We meet every Thursday evening to pray and intercede for the Body of Christ, salvation of souls, for leaders, those in authority, and others in need of prayer. In intercessory prayer, our goal is to seek the heart of the Father and stand in the gap to see His will fulfilled on the earth.
At JOY, we are very social. We believe that coming together in fellowship builds community and unity within our body. We have a monthly lunch potluck after church. We also host a monthly evening event for a time of fun, food, and frolic. We invite you to join the fun!
